developing over many weeks and the US Congress now is said to be debating, continuing

the funding. Your new column makes the case that overwhelmingly the US

Senate, all parties, all directions, all regions, favor of refunding Ukraine and a vast majority in the House of Representatives also favors the same thing

Well, what the hold up is a faction within the House Republican Caucus that Mike Johnson, who's

a speaker, doesn't want to antagonize because with a terribly thin

majority of the Republicans have in the House they could end his

speakership very quickly under the current set of rules.

And this small faction, they're upset about things that I understand.

There are upsets such as the open border policy that President Biden has had since he came into office that has

allowed probably nine million illegal aliens maybe more to come into the

country they're coming from about a hundred different countries around the world including China.

We don't know.
