Senior Fellow, who keeps the Long War Journalist, my colleague and co-host as we head to Ukraine.

It's fog of war, and there are two major concerns on the ground that have been in the news these last days.

We welcome John Hardy, our reporter on Ukraine conflict for the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy.

Mr. Hardy, a very good evening to you.

Over these last days, out of Kiev, and I believe it was the president, Mr. Zelensky,

but there are other voices saying that the North Korean deployment to the Ukraine conflict,

which has been talked about for weeks, that that deployment is now in combat with Ukrainian forces

in the salient, in the Kersk salient. I note that this is of

a special interest now because back in the Korean Peninsula, the South Korean government has fallen

into disrepair. The president has been impeached and removed. The legislature is conducting its business.

However, there will be a decision by the Constitutional Court.

That decision will lead to a new election.

And there's reason to believe I've talked to Korea over these last hours

that the new election will bring forth the president who is sympathetic to

China, sympathetic to North Korea, and certainly not looking to be a member of an alliance with

the U.S. and Japan against China. In other words, back home, things have changed, and the North

Korean element has newfound strength, at least in terms of geopolitical propaganda.

What can you tell us about the Kersk salient?

Do you see any confirmation of the report from Keefe that North Korea is in action?
