Conflict in Eurasia across the vastness of the world island. I welcome Anatole Levin of the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, who is the head of the Eurasia project.

He's traveling.

He's in Europe and France.

But to comment on all of Eurasia is necessary now because we have multiple motives, multiple

war aims, multiple combatants, some several times a combatant.

However, there is important documents to start with, and one of them is in the

United States Senate, where I'm told there are 82 signatories to a move that would put a 500

percent tariff on anyone doing business with Russia, the aggressor in Ukraine. Mr. Trump is said, has asked the Senate to

delay moving forward on that legislation because he looks to settle the matter of Ukraine

without that scale of trade conflict. However, Mr. Zelensky is said to have attended the G7 meeting in

these last days in the Canadian Rockies, looking to meet with Mr. Trump and other decision makers

in the world's most developed economy. There were a lot of people invited also. Japan was there,

South Korea was there, Even Mexico was there.

However, that did not happen because Mr. Trump left early because of the crisis in the Middle East.

Anatole, that's enough complication. I want to concentrate on that 500%. It looks to be very important

to Keefe right now. Is it determinative or is it just more escalation in frustration?
