This is CBS I In The World, I'm John Bachelor, Ukraine Conflict.

The pause in funding for arms for and aid for Ukraine in the U.S. Congress is alarming

to more than just Ukraine.

It's also alarming to members of Congress who stand by and watch this happening and are

not sure what comes next.

Is this the end of Ukraine's support by the United States by NATO?

That seems far-fetched, but I welcome Josh Rogan, Joshua Rogan writes global opinions

for the Washington Post, and in conversation with members of Congress these last days,

he leads me to no certain conclusion that that $24 billion dropped out of the budgeting

appropriation will be coming back.

No certainty whatsoever.

Your conversations with members of Congress included one with Brendan Boyle, a Democrat in

Pennsylvania, who supports the aid.

This is a bad look for the United States of America, said Mr. Boyle.

Our allies are already worried about 2024 and what may be coming soon.

This will only increase their worry about the stability of the United States and our leadership.

So this is stability.

It turns to a much higher plane than just winner-lose in the Congress.
