Beef up NATO to protect nations from Wagner, says Lithuania's president.

He is warned that if Belarus is to host Wagner mercenary group chief,

Pregozion, then NATO will need to strengthen its wheat eastern flank,

the head of state who's both a country, neighbors Belarus and Russia,

and will host next month's NATO summit,

spoke after a state security council meeting to discuss

Wagner's aborted revolt against the Kremlin. The quote,

if Pregozion or part of the Wagner group ends up in Belarus with unclear plans and unclear intentions,

it will only mean that we need to further strengthen the security of our eastern borders.

I am not only talking about Lithuania here, but without a doubt the whole of NATO.

The president added that Lithuania will devote more intelligence capabilities to assessing the political and security aspects of Belarus.

Professor, we could say those remarks are diplomatic compared to what we can imagine will come from Warsaw.

When and if Bosnian is confirmed to be in Minsk,

this is a deal that Moscow is said to have broken,

although according to the telegraph, it wasn't broken.

It was a threat to Pregozion's family that led him to exceed to it.

However, Lithuania is immediately thinking one step ahead saying,

if he's next door, we need defense.

And that means a lot of frontline units.
