In the old days in Washington, this would have been called strange bedfellows.

I welcome Cliff May, the president and founder of the foundation for the defensive democracies,

writing most recently about two groups who appear to be stepping away from Ukraine conflict,

and NATO's challenged by the Russian Federation. One group we know as the very famous and well-known

Code Pink, demanding Congress the quote, and the costly and deadly war by prioritising diplomacy

over weapons. The other group doesn't have a name. It consists, however, of Republicans.

And in the old days, I mean really old, my father's generation, the young people who were at war.

This would have been called the America Firsters. Cliff, a very good evening to you. I don't have a name

except for it resembles isolationism, Republicans who are turning away from Ukraine.

The recent request by the White House for additional funds to replenish our arsenal because

it's been depleted by sending weapons to Ukraine, resisted it, and in the

machinations in Congress right now, it's not in an important budgetary consideration.
