I'm John Batchel with Professor H.J. Mackender, International Relations, commenting on six

capital six points of view.

We go to Keefe.

What dominates the conversation in Ukraine all every day now is we need everything, but

especially ammunition, anticipating a Russian offensive under assault routinely on the

down-bast front line.

The complication is we're told by Washington, by Brussels, and by other parts of NATO

that the ammunition is not there.

It has to be manufactured.

That means restarting the manufacturing base in the NATO countries and redoubling,

tripling, demanding that the American arms manufacturers put together a production line

that doesn't now exist.

Professor Keefe says it needs everything.

However, the tension is with NATO that cannot routinely deplete its stores in the event

of trouble anywhere along the NATO line.
