conflict. John, I begin with the Kirst Salian, which we've been told for months, is a piece of

Russia that is meant to be part of the negotiations when and if such things happen to settle

the Ukraine conflict. Over these last days,

there have been reporting of North Korean troops in combat and counterattacks and attacks by

Ukrainian troops in combat and push back by the Russians. Has the situation on the ground, has it changed profoundly in these last days, are the North

Koreans either showing significant contribution or not?

Well, thanks, John and Bill for having me back on the show.

So as we discussed, I think, last week on the program, yeah, a little over a week ago, the Ukrainians launched an attack, kind of the northeastern part of the salient.

They are in Kersk Oblast.

Don't seem to gain much ground.

If any, it looks like the Russians were pretty successful in counter-attacking and pushing

them back.

At the same time, the Russians in various parts of that, of course, Goldblast, they launched

attacks and seemed to have gained some significant ground, especially on the left flank
