the six capital points of view in Ukraine conflict. We add Tokyo because the Prime Minister

Kishina, a man who was third-generation politician in Japan, he grew up in a fashion outside

of the US. He's born Tokyo. He grew up in Tokyo in that transition. He's in his 60s. I

think he's 65 or 66 in that transition between the catastrophe of the Second War and the miracle

of the Asia-Tagger, which Tokyo leads. He also is a man associated with the Liberal Democratic

Party, the ruling party, but he's the dove wing of the party. His dovishness derives

from a fact. He lost family members at Hiroshima. The dove wing of the Liberal Democratic Party

has never endorsed arming, rearming, reawakening Japanese militarism. That's what it was called

in the 1920s and 1930s. At the same time, the G7 is scheduled to meet in Japan in May

at Hiroshima, where I'm told, having never been, the tribute to the dead at Hiroshima dwarfs

anything that people have met before or seen. It's graphic, it's vivid, and it's about

an event in August of 1945 that scars the memory of Japan and the United States and all the

rest of the world because it was the first time an atomic weapon was used in anger. There

was only one other time that had happened three days later. So, Kishida, before this meeting,

has been making a tour and has visited five of the seven capitals of the G7. The fifth
