visiting Professor Dickinson College

and the CEO of Diamond Sixth Leadership

and Strategy to comment on military affairs in the immediate hemisphere, the Americas. Because the

Trump administration is new to the dance and there are directions that are fresh. The first direction is to the border.

The president has directed the U.S. military to deploy to the border. I don't have details,

but I do know that right now there's been more than one incident at the border recently of gunfire.

The Newsweek headline in these last days reads American hiker shot twice

by suspected cartel terrorist. That was more than a week ago in, no, less than a week ago in

January. There's also a report that Border Patrol has exchanged gunfire with Mexican

cartel members. That all speaks to the border being

a very dangerous place. The wall is under construction. The Trump administration has given a lot of

orders. Nothing concrete yet. But the suggestion is that the U.S. military is going to be at risk.
