What? How did we get here?

Mr. Trump is in the region in Air Force One. He could land anywhere. Istanbul is hosting an exchange. We know confirmed that Secretary of State Rubio will in attendance.

We can believe that Sergei Lavrov, the foreign minister of Russia, will be there.

What is it that they're looking to achieve if all of these major actors show up?

Well, a beginning of negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, of course, is the

goal, but different processes in play. We had, of course, on Victorydale on the 8th of May,

not only did we have, of course, on the 9th, the big parade in Moscow, but we had four

NATO leaders, the Chancellor of Germany, newly

installed, President of France, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Prime Minister of Poland,

all go to Kiev in support of the Ukrainians and President Zelenskyy.

At that moment, they threw down the gauntlet, if you will, to President Putin saying that he

needed to accept an immediate 30- if you will, to President Putin saying that he needed to accept

an immediate 30-day ceasefire, which President Trump had proposed, which President Zelensky
