Hello everybody welcome to our UFC 296 review our final UFC review of

2023 I am John Pollock joined by Eric Marcotte who I think is going to have way

more output than when Colby Covington did on Saturday night.

How are you today, Eric?

I'm doing okay.

I'm definitely a bit tired here.

This is a strange time for me as a man who works nights but it was a good enough card that I kept my energy up a bit to make it here.

What is your new schedule looking like? Are you, are you, have you been going straight since last night where are we catching Eric Marcotte

at 11 a.m. on a Sunday morning? Usually I do just go straight until the show today I

got some sleep and I think I just I crashed around two and I woke up at like six

which is a good thing because I had completely forgotten almost everything that

happened so I had to rewatch most of the fights just recapture everything so I can actually talk about them.

Well we are going to be diving into UFC 296.

We'll also go over some of the news that came out of the press conference.

Dana White was in a very festive mood

afterwards. He was in good spirits and dropped a lot of news in this press

conference afterward. But first of all, how much of the press conferences did you catch this week?

And what was some of your takeaways? Because it was, even Dana White went so far as to state at the press conference

that he was uncomfortable with a lot of the stuff

that that was brought up this week which between Sean Strickland and

Colby Covington just two of them like I thought I just thought it was a really

ugly look between them and we'll have lots to talk about
