With chatter heating up about O’Malley’s first title defense being a rematch against sixth-ranked bantamweight Marlon “Chito” Vera, Matt and Jim state why Merab Dvalishvili could get the next title shot in the UFC’s stacked bantamweight division.

Proud of Chris Weidman’s performance despite his unanimous decision loss to Brad Tavares, Matt and Ray then shift towards a chat on welterweight Ian Machado Garry’s win over Neil Magny and the 25-year-old Irishman’s decision to call out Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.

After yet another dominant performance from women’s strawweight champion Zhang Weili in Saturday’s co-main event against Amanda Lemos, Jim wraps up the show by asking the two coaching partners about their thoughts on a hypothetical title fight between the Chinese champion and unbeaten contender Tatiana Suarez.
