In this week's episode, we're diving into investing in you, the only guaranteed return on investment in today's uncertain economy.

If you read my book on Unstoppable, nine principles for unlimited success and business and in life, I walked you through the tools and tactics that our parents and grandparents used to create wealth and build leverage even with a very low income threshold in years past.

I talked about the changes in the market and the economy and how it's impacted our ability to get a return on investment from the standard things that most people build wealth from in the past.

Things like putting your money in a savings account or investing in real estate, the stock market, you know, counting on the value of your home raising or even investing in government-backed funds.

All of those things are shaky and uncertain, have gone through some turmoil and there's more to come, right? We all know this, even if we don't want to always acknowledge it.

But the bottom line here is that the most important thing that you have to realize about ultimately creating the life that you want, achieving the business goals and the income that you desire is that if it's going to be, it's up to you.

You know, one of the things my dad said to me when I was really young that stuck with me in my entire life was he said, if it's going to be, it's up to me.

If it's going to be, it's up to me. And if you can embody that and learn that and realize that you can't count on anyone but yourself when it comes to accomplishing your goals and dreams.

No one is going to care more, invest heavily enough, follow through with enough conviction and determination and have enough commitment to helping you to achieve what matters to you than you.

And if you're looking for outward validation, you want to profit first and invest later. I want you to know right here and now that simply doesn't work.

There's countless entrepreneurs out there today that say they desire to start and grow a business and yet they're not making the right investments in themselves to learn how to be successful as an entrepreneur, to market effectively, to close clients, to build a brand online.

And what happens when you refuse to make the necessary investments in yourself to achieve the outcomes that you desire is a whole lot of frustration, burnout, exhaustion and dreams going to the graveyard.

I want you to know that if you have a dream, you have a vision for your life and you have a masterpiece that you want to create, you have to get comfortable investing first and specifically investing in yourself.

Now there's a lot of different ways that we invest in ourselves.

Exercise, nutrition, taking vitamins, eating healthy, putting good fuel and food in our bodies, meditation, our mindset, developing a gratitude way of thinking and being, taking time to think and reflect, reading every single day, consuming content that's going to help us learn and grow,

working with a coach, getting a mentor, joining a mastermind, developing new skills, investing and building a winning team around us.

These are the essentials that you must invest in if you want to become world class at everything that you do.
