0:06.3	Trump bizarrely and falsely accused me and other members of the news media of
0:11.9	breaking the law by reporting on him.
0:15.0	The president has been falsely accusing all sorts of folks in the media and politics
0:20.0	of breaking the law in various ways these days, promoting a conspiracy theory that a different TV
0:25.1	news anchor is responsible for a murder.
0:28.1	His sons are out there pushing deranged memes about their father's Democratic presidential
0:32.4	challenger as a pedophile and on and on.
0:35.0	It all seems clearly to, designed to distract from the horrific health, death, and economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
0:45.0	And that, of course, is what we here at the lead are going to continue to focus on
0:50.0	as the United States nears 90,000 deaths from coronavirus and almost 1.5 million cases and if the trend continues,
0:58.0	we could see 100,000 deaths in the U.S. by next week. As of today, all 50 states are now reopening
1:06.4	some non-essential businesses or have a plan to do so even as about a third of the states in the US still have coronavirus case
1:15.6	numbers on the rise. But there are some promising signs today coming from at
1:21.6	least one vaccine maker and this news is helping to drive
1:25.4	up stocks the now closing up about 900 points just moments ago we'll have much
1:30.2	more on the economy in a few minutes but first CNN's Nick Wad is going to
