And welcome back to the rest of this first hour on forum. And we're going to turn to somebody who has led some high-profile investigations for the U.S. Department of Justice,

including the prosecution of public corruption in San Francisco City Government,

and in a collaboration with the San Francisco Police Department, his office has also gone after high-volume drug traffickers.

David Anderson is a Bay Area native, and in 2018, President Trump appointed him U.S. Attorney for the Northern

District of California, which includes Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose, the city where

he was born. And like U.S. attorneys across the country, Anderson has submitted his resignation

to President Biden and will leave office at the end of this week and he's here to look back.
