I'm joined today by my conservative counterpart, Cleveland area attorney and defender of freedom,

Jay Carson. Hey, good morning, Mike. Hey, Jay. How are you doing this morning? I'm floating on air like a

Chinese balloon. Oh, very good. I like that one a lot. And we will be talking about Chinese spy balloons as well as a bunch of other things,

including the Tyree Nichols killing, the Durham Probe, and attorney former attorney general

Barr's role in it, the removal of Elon Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee, and a bunch more. And we're

going to get at that in just one second. Okay, so we open with the killing of Tyree Nichols by five Memphis

police officers after a traffic stop on January 7th. Early this week, police body cam footage of the

incident was released to the public, and that happened a day after a grand jury indicted

five officers on a number of charges, including secondary, second degree murder, aggravated assault,

aggravated kidnapping, official misconduct, and official oppression.

Like a lot of other people, you know, I watched the footage and I was, I guess, stunned and

would be the words that come to mind at that level of brutality that I saw and what seemed

to me to be complete lawlessness on the part of those officers,

as well as just the indifference of everyone to this guy's plight after he had been severely

beaten by the police. And, you know, in the wake of this, President Biden spoke with the

Nichols family.

And he told them that he would make a renewed push for Congress to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.
