biblically about everything. Okay so you guys are going to want to open your

Bibles to Leviticus because that's what we're going to beibles to Leviticus is one of the books of the

Bible that we often don't know what to do with. I mean it was easy to apply it if you were

a priest working in the Tabernacle in Old Testament times.

But as a Christian today, a follower of Jesus Christ today,

it's like, what am I supposed to do with this?

By way of introduction, or reminder, this is part of the Jesus in the Old Testament

series which has been an extensive series building a case of how to see types of

Christ in the Old Testament the theology behind looking for types examples of

types and right now what we're doing is I thought behind looking for types, examples of types.

And right now what we're doing is I thought,

let me go to a book of the Bible that has a great amount of typology in it,

Leviticus, but it's a book that a lot of people just they find unrewarding I think and one thing that might help you find it more rewarding is by seeing the typology in the book.

So we're going to cover the first seven chapters today and we're going to be looking

specifically at the sacrifices that happen in the book of Leviticus. I mean, I'll give you some more details,

but just a reminder, I know you're hovering in Leviticus chapter one and that's where you should be but Galatians

324 says this.

It says the law was our guardian until Christ came in order that we might be justified by faith,

but now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

And so we're not under the law in the same sense that the Jewish people were under the law

when it was given. It was given for a time and that it is no longer binding upon us.
