And you recently heard an episode that we brought to of The Drop where we talked about the movie that we discovered recently out of darkness.

And right after we finished recording, we were excited to hear that we've gotten a call back from the representatives of its creator, Andrew coming.

And so we thought we'd jump back on and ask all the questions that we wanted to ask and bring you along for the ride.

Brannon, you wanted to kick things off? I'm going to just jump straight into

why of all the things to make your first feature, something with so many, let's just say

challenges, like for example, pitching something like this. It's in an unknown language.

What made you, what made you decided that this was going to be your first feature I didn't to begin with

I thought I might make this in 20 years if I ever got any sort of influence

you know maybe one day I'd make a big studio movie that

would make lots of money and they might say, hey, what do you want to do? And I thought, I'll make,

I'll do this. So the origins of it, I saw a documentary on the BBC here in the UK just as I was

finishing films go and it was about early modern humans traveling into Western Europe for the first time.

And thought, oh, that would be a really interesting time periods to make a movie about.

But there was no story.

I just thought, wow, I've never seen that done at that time.

I wasn't aware of things like Quest for Fire, Plan of the Cave Bear, etc. And then I read William Goldings follow up to Lord of the Flies,
