This is the seventh in a series of public hearings that committee will be holding as part of the House

of Representatives in Peachment Inquiry.

Today, we heard from David Holmes, who is the senior political officer,

so a very senior career foreign service officer in the US Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine.

And we also heard from Fiona Hill, who is a Russia scholar and was no longer as it was the

senior Russia expert on the National Security Council, so sort of their top person with Russia

as her portfolio.
