It's the Brian Lear Show on WNYC. Good morning again, everyone. I'm Bridget Bergen, sitting in for Brian today. On Wednesday, the verdict came down in a social media addiction trial in a Los Angeles County Court.

Meta and Google, owners of Instagram and YouTube respectively, were found liable for harming a teenager with their app's addictive features.
