Summary

Damien Woody is a two-time Super Bowl champion who played 12 seasons with the Patriots, Lions and Jets. He was selected 17th overall by the New England Patriots in the 1999 NFL Draft and played five seasons with the Pats, four with the Lions and three with the Jets. He announced his retirement from the NFL in July of 2011 and joined ESPN as an NFL analyst a few weeks later. 

During his career, Woody played with and blocked for legendary quarterbacks Brett Favre and Tom Brady and was a member of two Super Bowl winning teams in 2001 and 2003 with the New England Patriots. 

Today on the podcast, we talk to Damien about his NFL playing career, his transition to broadcasting, his journey of faith, why he has a heart to give back to children and how he became an NHL super-fan with the New York Islanders.
