You know, yesterday's meeting at the White House between Donald Trump and Voldemir Zelensky from Ukraine wasn't quite as exciting as I was hoping. It didn't have, you know, the boxing match that we all got to see

live from the Oval Office back in February when Zelensky visited for the first time. I don't think

I will ever be as entertained by any meeting between the president of the United States and a

foreign leader as I was by that meeting and February. I hold the cards. Trump told Zelensky. However, there were two very important developments that occurred

yesterday during this meeting, the summit between Trump and Zelensky, that the mainstream

media is not talking about. And honestly, it's not just the mainstream media. Nobody's really

noticing the significance of these two things that happened during the meeting.

Yet we're all asking, okay, what came out of this meeting?

How did this advance the peace talks? Is Trump any closer now to brokering an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine than he was last week before he met

with Zelensky in the Oval Office, before he met with Putin and Alaska.

Now, the argument that I want to make to you today is, yes, Donald Trump is much, much closer

to brokering a deal to end the war between Russia and Ukraine today than he was last week.

And I'm going to walk you through this entire

argument because you know as well as I do that the result of the meeting between Trump and

Zelensky did not beget us a list of concessions from Zelensky or a roadmap that we can

report on in an article of, you know, this is what the

next step of the process is going to look like. It was kind of, you know, we watched and we waited

and were still watching and waiting. However, again, two things occurred during yesterday's meeting that I think tell us more than we need to know about what's happening. The things that went without saying actually tell us more than any kind of plan moving forward. So let me walk through this. First of all, the mainstream media doesn't want Trump to succeed here.

They don't actually want an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine because they use it as a way to attack Trump because Trump said he would end this war in his first day in office.

Obviously, that's a campaign promise that he is working to fulfill, but he's not the only person in charge of doing that.

It requires cooperation between Zelensky and Putin. So he can't entirely to the moment control

them. However, what became clear yesterday is that President Trump is in charge of these
