0:34.7	Boy, looks like you have a flower on your tie. What is that about? Oh, that's a good one. So it looks like a flower. There's like conidia and there's all these septic... Canadia? Well, that's a fungal term. Yes, that is a fungal term. So, yes, this is my aspergillus bow tie. Aspergillus. Okay. Yeah, usually I wear, it's like there's like an inside where you see more of the multicolors. But this, I think, goes well with the pocket square. I don't know if people could see it. Yeah, I see that. So this is the organism that causes aspergillosis, which is a lung disease, correct?
1:10.9	Exactly, exactly, yep, and can be invasive, yeah.
1:14.8	And where do you get this?
1:16.1	In the southwest of the U.S.?
1:18.2	No, so that's Coxie, right?
1:21.3	Okay.
1:21.7	So Coxie is the desert fever, right?
1:25.8	Aspergillus soil distributed throughout, we see it throughout the world,
1:29.2	actually. There was quite a bit of aspergillosis. People getting all the steroids, right,
1:34.5	during COVID and sometimes people immunocompromise for other reasons. So I think the ties can be
1:41.4	a learning experience, you know? So they are actually. It's gotten, like, you know, I was in the ICU this morning, and, you know, the team is there and we're talking and, you know, it becomes a whole learning experience. You know, you got the fungi, you got your mold, you got your yeast, you got your dimorphic, right? Just, you know, the bow tie is just a chance to talk about infectious disease pathogens.
2:03.0	Yeah, and then we have histoplasmosis was another fungal disease, right?
2:06.6	Yeah, yeah.
2:07.9	And this is also global or is it in specific environment?
2:12.4	So histo is more global than I think people realize, right?
2:16.1	That were these ideas, oh, histo, Ohio River Valley, but we see tons of it in the Caribbean.
2:21.5	I think the lesson we've learned over the last few years is if you look for it, it is not just in those little pockets.
