87 year old professor Chaima Shedd had long served as the head of Israel's security space

program for almost 40 years between 1981 and 2010. For three decades the now retired general from the Israel

Defense Forces has been part of those responsible for the launching of numerous Israeli satellites into space.

Over the years, the Shedd has been recognized as a true leader and was the recipient of three Israeli defense prizes and two for confidential

technological inventions. When he retired in 2011, the Israeli media called him the father of Israel's satellite program.

In December of 2010, a Shedd, who was currently a professor of aeronautical engineering,

sat down for an interview with an Israeli newspaper.

It was here that he claimed that the United States government

had actually been in contact with extraterrestrial life for many years.
