Extra Innings episode here from Target Field where the twins wrap up a homestan.

I guess they only played like five games in the span of seven days,

but they're about to hit the road for a lengthy road trip. They do drop this series finale to

twins were in position to walk off the Royals for the third time in as many days. They were in

position to win their fourth game via walkoff hit throughout this homestand, dating back to when

Cleveland came to town.

But the twins fall by a score of two to one man, Kyle Bubich is, Chris Bubich, excuse me, is

nasty. His ERA is 1.45 on the season. Twins jumped on him early, and it was like, oh, okay. They get a single,

they get a double early. They take a one-nothing lead, and you kind of think, oh, okay, this could

work for the twins, right? This could be a pretty solid day at the office for one of the most

effective starting pitchers in baseball. After that, I believe it was 23 hitters in a row

without a hit. There were a couple walks mixed in, but 23 hitters in a row without a hit.

But 23 hitters failed to reach against Boobich, who was just insane, man.

He was really nasty today.
