Hello, everyone, and welcome to this week in Fantasy Baseball.

I'm John Co. Joy by my co-host, Patrick Fitzgerald. In this episode, we're going to go over the latest news and notes around baseball, recap the hitter and pitcher performances from this past week. And of course, we still got some stream recommendations at the end of the show. But before we get into all of that, Patrick, how are you doing? Hey, John, I'm doing pretty well.

You know, he's got a couple weeks left in the season, so we're on the home stretch here. I'm just hoping that my fantasy teams can finish as strong as my real life team. The Orioles, they're playing well, not that it matters too much, but just slept the pirates and took five out of six from the Dodgers and Padres last week. So just hoping they can take a little momentum into next year, but we'll see. How are you?

I'm doing all right. I've got one team left. I think that isn't contention for the playoffs. And then I've got a roto team that has slowly been diminished. It's just just been bad. I was like first back in, you know, May and June, you feel great about your team, and I think I've dropped a seventh.

So I'm hoping opposite of you that my team is, that my fantasy teams do better than my real-life team because the twins have just been awful.

They got swept by the White Sox last week, and then I believe lost two out of three to the Angels and have a fun little weekend

series with the Diamondbacks this weekend, and it's just horrible baseball all around.

But at least Royce Lewis is hitting the ball.

I guess we got that to go in for us.

Yeah, the White Sox have sneakily been playing some decent baseball recently.

I'm interested to see, you know, if they're actually somewhat of a competitive team next year. Yeah, again, not to be so depressing.

And I think I mentioned this last week already. I would not be surprised if the twins finished

with the worst record than the White Sox next year because they kind of already did that in the

second half of the season.'ve been they've been pretty

awful so yeah maybe they can get some inspiration from from the Orioles and uh you know go from

a team that everyone was writing off to not that you're competing for playoffs or anything but at least

like you're finishing the season strong and looking good yeah yeah at least it's an interesting baseball to watch.
