Hello, everyone, and welcome to this week in fantasy baseball.

I'm John Cud, joined by Patrick Fitzgerald.

In this episode, we're going to go over the latest news and notes around baseball,

recap the hitter of pitch and performances from this past week.

But because we got the all-start break next week,

we are not going to be necessarily giving some streaming recommendations at the end of the show.

Just some maybe potential teams to look out for because of soft schedules. But before we get into all of that, Patrick, how are you doing? Hey, John, I'm doing okay. The Orioles swept the

doubleheader from the Mets today. So they continue to play better. And I would say give us false hope.

But I guess that's, you know, that's just part of the highs and lows of being a fan. They're trying to claw back into the wild card race. The odds are

still long, but maybe they'll go into the break with some momentum. How are you? I'm doing all right. The

twins took two out of three against the Cubbies, which I did not expect, but that's baseball the twins i believe are still like two games under 500 uh so it's actually kind

of incredible that they took two games from from the cubs in the first place uh i did want to speak

about the o's you guys started the trade deadline season off a little early uh trading a reliever right

to the raise yeah yeah brian baker he's uh you's a, you know, kind of going, he was like

more of a quad A guy going into the season. He had some, some good seasons and some bad ones with

the O's. And then his stuff really jumped up this year and he got a lot of high leverage looks.

Went out on kind of a bad note. He had a couple of rough outings the last couple of weeks. I guess the Orioles just felt like it was a good time to capitalize on his value.

Trade for a draft pick, which is kind of interesting.

I guess the Orioles, you know, they really love their moving some guys because like i said odds of contending are still pretty long so yeah wasn't wasn't expecting especially right for a double header but i guess you

never know yeah we got basically three weeks still the uh trade deadline so i'm sure we're going to be

talking about a bunch of players that might be on the move um i know there's a lot of hot names that
