I just feel wrong. Like, I feel just exposed, and that's just not how I enjoy feeling, and I don't think anybody does.

It came to me really in those first few days, because clearly there were plenty of tears, and that is not my favorite thing.

But I knew that God was going to turn tears into testimony. That phrase came to me

really probably the day after Caden passed away because I knew that God was going to redeem those

about us. I love it. And so today's story is Emily Porter from Jackson, Mississippi. Yeah, Emily's story, you know, we've had a few heavy stories in the month of October. And sometimes I feel like God layers stories in a certain way for certain people. So maybe you're in a season of grief or you're walking through some suffering. I think Emily's story is going to encourage you. Yes, it is a story of loss, the loss of a child,

but Emily is very joyful and she tells you it's okay to hold joy in sorrow. But I think

you're going to find her incredibly encouraging as she's going to remind you that God never changes

and he is not only good, but he is also kind, kind in the midst of suffering. So we're glad you're here,
