1:44.0 | Yeah, Ty canna committed to USC. He's an inside linebacker, three star from Texas. I know there's some mixed reviews because when anyone hears the word three star, the phrase three star, they're kind of like, I want to know what your guys thoughts were when you saw this commitment and saw his tape. |
2:02.0 | Okay, I'll start first. Yeah, I mean, so Katie, Texas, it's a powerhouse in Texas football. Obviously USC. Okay, there's 10 coaches on staff. |
2:13.0 | Seven of them have connections to Texas. So you knew Texas is going to be a part of USC's recruiting plan for players from 2021 signed out of the state of Texas. |
2:25.0 | So it's definitely been something an area that USC is looking at. They're going to go in the backyard and you're going to recruit California as much as possible. |
2:32.0 | But I don't want to say it's low hanging fruit sometimes, but you can get some guys out of Texas. |
2:37.0 | He's never been to Los Angeles before and he's a commitment. Now, signing day still, you know, months and months away. So we'll see what happens there. |
2:45.0 | He's 100% committed to Texas. I haven't got the whole lot. We obviously we didn't see him. He's not a local guy. I haven't seen much of them, but Gabe Brooks has, you know, he does a great job covering recruiting down Texas had some nice things to say about. |
2:57.0 | I haven't seen him a lot in coverage yet, doing a lot of run support stuff. So we'll have to see, you know, how he performs in his senior year, you know, watch it going through the Texas high school football. |
