Now, you've heard this from us before, but it bears repeating that the horrific murders

of Roger and Mary Brumbach that you heard in episodes 24 and 25 were told to you from

the perspective of the state's timeline is they believed that the murders took place

sometime between 4 and 5 pm on May 12 of 2013.

There are reasons that will become apparent in future episodes as the discovery comes

into us after Anthony Garcia is arrested.

Needless to say, we as the defense team did not agree with the state's timeline for

various reasons, none more important than science, but that is for a different day.

Just keep this in mind moving forward.

So we left off a few weeks ago with the brutal murders of both Mary and Roger Brumbach.

We are now situated in the minutes after the homicides took place.

Let's dig in.

One of the Brumbach's neighbors, to be exact, his next door neighbor to the west, Michael

Pyrnicki, who just so happens to be a former Omaha police officer, is sitting watching

TV in his living room with his wife sitting next to him.

Her oxygen tank, fixed in its small rolling cart, the hypnotic hiss filling the air, suddenly

Michael hears several muffled bangs coming from outside.

He turns the TV down with the remote.

Did you hear that?

He asks his wife.
