Summary

The Tunnel Vision crew of Keely Eure, Shotgun Spratling and Ryan Abraham are back in studio trying to make sense of yet another blowout loss at home, this time at the hands of the Oregon State Beavers. For the first time since 1960 OSU earned a victory in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and now interim head coach Donte Williams has to figure out how to turn the tide and get this team back on a winning track. The team also talks about what the players and coaches had to say after the loss including offensive coordinator Graham Harrell and defensive coordinator Todd Orlando, how the culture change and increased accountability isn't a magic pill that takes hold over night and the incredible number of penalty flags that flew Saturday night. This is a podcast version of our video show Tunnel Vision that you can find on our Facebook or YouTube pages. 1:01.0

The first time the beavers have won in Los Angeles since 1960, so a historic loss for the children, so we'll break it all down.

1:09.0

And of course, wherever you're watching Facebook or YouTube, I don't believe we're on Periscope right now, so put your comments, questions, and concerns in the chat box.

1:18.0

We love hearing from you guys. Also, we have the return of calls tonight. You can call us 5124 Tunnel. The lovely Cristobino is standing by to screen your calls.

1:27.0

We already have a caller in the queue, so thank you for that. But like I said, guys, it was a historic loss for USC.

1:34.0

We saw USC go down against Washington State in Pullman, halftime, Dante Williams talks to the team, the team turns it around.

1:41.0

I wasn't able to do that last night. What do we see on Saturday, Ryan?

1:46.0

Yeah, it's funny. Our friends, Alicia, they're a toll over at the renautory. They were talking about, hey, if you have a good third quarter, things are usually going to be talked about well.

1:55.0

Like if you remember the Washington State game from last year, all the points were scored early, and then you kind of like didn't do much the rest of the game.

2:03.0

In this last one, all the points were scored in the third quarter or a lot of them, and you just kind of feel better about it.

2:08.0

You know, like if it's the fourth quarter, come back. That's one thing. But scoring points after halftime, you kind of feel good.

2:13.0

And actually USC second third quarter really just dominated the game when they're after being down 14 nothing. It was the complete opposite in this game.

2:22.0

Oregon State started in the second quarter, five straight touchdown drives, two of them 92 yard variety.

2:29.0

So they just dominated the second third quarter is 35 to seven or whatever it was. They scored just early in the fourth quarter.

2:35.0

But USC had nothing coming out of there. It looked like Oregon State had to, you know, was inflicting their will on this game.

2:43.0

We're able to push USC around just really good run blocking. I think they had, I believe it was 12 runs that were over 10 yards.

2:52.0

Nolan was great. You know, through four, four touchdown passes didn't have to throw a ton.

2:56.0

But four touchdown passes was really efficient and also took off and ran.

3:00.0

The ball was able to, if there's ever guys were covered, he just kind of took off and ran. And it just seemed like whatever Oregon State wanted to do, they did.
