Summary

“Dear Player. You've come a long way, haven't you?” Lead developer Andrew Shouldice stuffed every single corner of Tunic's world with secrets and mysteries, and created a wonderfully faithful, detailed and devious retro-style game manual to help and/or baffle players. Tom, Brian and Chris delve deep into the indie adventure, assessing its controversial combat and widely beloved soundtrack. http://media.blubrry.com/caneandrinse/caneandrinse.com/podcast/cane_and_rinse_issue_655.mp3   Music featured in this issue: 1. 1:30.8

I would further the description of it as a game about a little fox and say it's a Zelda-ish, Dark Souls-ish, Metroid-ish, Fez-ish,

1:42.7

and a little bit of Monument Valley-inspired isometric adventure with a dense layer of puzzles and secrets.

2:33.2

kind of early, you know, alpha demo where people

2:36.4

see it and are immediately kind of enchanted by the idea of going through this sort of colorful

2:42.4

world with a little fox. And presumably that gave him a sort of nice little boost to keep going
