good morning everyone the simple handicap for tuesday september 13th thank you for making me a part of

your morning NFL week one in the rearview mirror finishing up six and seven minus 2.1 not the season

starter that i was looking for got very total, got into a few more props than maybe

a guy should have messy to start, but we are moving on to week number two. And there were a lot of

people messaging last night wanting me to rip on Nathaniel Hackett. For those of you that have

listened to the podcast for a number of seasons, you'll know this isn't necessarily a hot take podcast.

That's never what it is intended to be.

You'll get the one or two rants as we go throughout the season.

Some will remember the lion's rant from a year ago.

It happens.

But there wasn't a sort of invested interest to fuel that as I go to record it. But what I will say,

which I think can offer some at least points to think about or some discussion maybe with

friends or your betting group chat or whatever it might be is, it's important to remember

the Broncos were the only team in the NFL that started a new head coach, offensive coordinator,

defensive coordinator, and quarterback coming into the season. This is a team that did not play

any of the starters in preseason. So that game against Seattle was essentially the first

go for all of these guys together within a new system,

the new scheme, everything about it.

With all of that said, I mean, the late game decision making was appalling.

You're going to hear about that the entire day.

I'm sure there's going to be some analysts that try to spin that it was the right thing to do
