I'll make a bet with you. I bet you that wherever you live, if you go to the Instagram or

ex profile of your governor, senator, or House representative,

they probably posted something yesterday in honor of Memorial Day.

That sounds probably something like this.

We're forever indebted to those fallen soldiers who bravely went off to defend our country

and unfortunately never made it back.

And don't get me wrong,

that is a beautiful and very deserved sentiment. And that is what Memorial Day is about. It's about honoring the members of our armed forces who lost their lives in service to this country.

But anyone can tweet out their support for the military. That part's easy.

A lot of politicians will say things like that, whether it's during a holiday weekend or on the campaign trail.
