We begin with the severe storms that flooding, threatening millions of Americans, ginger is here with the track and time and including how the storm could impact the smoke from the Canadian wildfires.

Let's start with what was not the greatest day in South Florida.

elevated risk of flash flooding let's talk severe now because in the middle of the country

this afternoon from kansas city back to central ok Oklahoma, you'll end up with this line coming through

that will be damaging wind primarily. Dallas later tonight, you see damaging wind and large hail,

flash flooding up to five inches in there. And then Gatsky, Minnesota, this really shows us

what the air quality was. It's not just milky. This is like the unhealthiest some of it in the world because of the wildfire smoke from Canada being pulled down. So this morning it's still really bad all the way down to the Twin Cities. We're going to see more of that behind the front. So while you'll have some rain, then we'll mix it down to the surface for a little bit. We're going to pull some of that from Duluth to Minneapolis later today, so this afternoon. And Rebecca, it doesn't stop there. A lot of this era has, even though it's up

higher, impacting a lot of the East Coast. I'll get into that coming up. All right, getting a lot of

the new attacks overnight in the war in Ukraine. This comes after Ukrainian and Russian

negotiators met for peace talks and just a day after Ukraine's surprise drone attack that struck
