sitting back last night watching the Yankees kick ass and hold on and win four to two and i keep

wondering like how good are they like are they good good are they yankee good and by Yankee good

I mean like when Aaron Boone has been here they're essentially a 95 win team every year you look at

the last two years they've won 94 games both seasons,

but in 2025, they couldn't beat the Blue Jays, and so they get knocked out early. But in 2024, they've got the AL Central Road and they go to the World Series. Like, are they a typical,

hey, 94 wins, write it down, Yankee team, we'll see about the playoff matchups, or are they

even better than that?

Because last night I'm watching Max Fried Dominate again. I'm watching Ben Rice and Aaron Judge like they're the best brothers. Right. And there's a part of you that thinks maybe they're

even better than the normal Yankee good. I think it's better only because the pitching

feels dominant right now.

Every one of these Max Fried starts is dominant.

Every one of these Cam Schlittler starts is dominant.

We'll see tonight against Shakeda Grom.

It should be, I mean, an unbelievable pitchers battle if you want to, if you love that kind of baseball game.

But Carlos Rodan isn't back yet.

Garrett Cole isn't back yet. Ryan

Weathers looks like he could be good if he ever gets run support, which he did his last

outing, and they dominated again. So they have in theory five really good starting pitchers

and a bullpen that's, you know, it's not overwhelming, but David Bednar does his job. And so I feel like this team has better pitching than some of these other teams that we've seen with the Yankees where they win 95 games to get to the postseason. So if their pitching holds up, health-wise holds up, knock on wood, why can't they be the best team in baseball and win a World Series? So like, what are we talking? 102 wins? 105 wins. Like, what are we talking about here? Well, here's the thing. They're beating the teams they're supposed to. Right. And it's like, all right, you get up against above 500 because we don't really know what any of these teams are yet. And above 500 squads. So you evaluate them based on their record, and they win the series.

Maybe they lose one game, like against Houston, but they win the series.

It's same thing with Texas, who is, you know, they're just under 500, but they could be a good team.

They'll win the series, and, but the teams that are bad, they just wipe the floor with.
