episode. Hey, friends, welcome back. We are at the end of Matthew chapter nine. Seems like we've been in

this chapter forever, but it's a great chapter. There are just so many things that Jesus did,

and we worked our way through that teaching section.

We're going to go back into a teaching section here in just a bit. But wow, to see what Jesus did

and how what he did is such a great ornament for what he said. And that ought to be true of your

life and mine, that what you do, the life

you live, the priorities you have ought to be a decoration for what you say and who you really are.

And Jesus was 100% authentic, wasn't he? And we're in Matthew chapter 9, which is a little bit of a summary

section here in the book of Matthew. And we're trying to keep the theme in our mind,

which is Jesus is the king. And Matthew is helping people to understand that what the Old

Testament said about a coming Messiah,

about a coming king and a coming kingdom was indeed fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

And so the Jewish readers, the first century audience for this letter, are going to be
