Universities are starting to band together against the Trump administration. First, about 150

colleges and universities signed a letter today denouncing what they call overreach and political

interference by the federal government. They include the University of Washington, Seattle

U, Pacific Lutheran, and the University of Puget Sound. They're worried after some students had their

visas revoked and schools have received threats that they'll lose federal funding if they don't

adhere to Trump's demands. Second thing, the 18 universities in the Big Ten conference are considering

making a pact to defend each other against the Trump administration. The schools, including

U-dub, could create a mutual academic defense compact. If they all agree, the universities

would put money into a shared defense fund they could use if they
