Hey, friends, welcome to our podcast for today. We are in Psalm 37, which is quite a long Psalm, 40 verses long.

But wow, what a great Psalm it is.

It's a wisdom Psalm.

I think I mentioned that yesterday, or last episode, I should say.

A wisdom Psalm is really more like what you would think of the book of

Proverbs than you would typically think of the book of Psalms. And we've learned some great

principles already. The greatest, I think, was delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall

give thee the desires of thine heart. We talked about what that

means and it's an exciting promise for believers. But in the same vein of that promise is verse number

five where the Bible says commit thy way unto the Lord, trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.

He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light and thy judgment as the noon day.

So again, the larger context here is don't fret because of evil doers. And sometimes in the moment, it seems that

they are winning or they are succeeding. And the righteous is, and what David is reiterating
