A singer Tori Amos is 60, Tyberrell from Modern Families 56,

Howie D of the Backstreet Boys, and Kristen Wigger, both 50, born on the same day.

James Corden is 45, and Dua Lipa, she's 28 years old today, happy birthday folks.

Okay. All right, here we go. There's a lot to get through today.

We always start with the top story. Today we'll start with some follow-up on tropical storm Hillary.

It's genuinely hard to gauge exactly how bad it was. Some of these headlines are all about the

total destruction. Others say California managed to evade catastrophic damage.

I think it's somewhere in the middle. Parts of the state were certainly pummeled.

I know the Palm Springs area is in rough shape, but given the fact that a hurricane was charging

toward the coast, it could have been much worse. There was a great deal around the National Weather

Service said that Sunday was the wedded stay ever recorded in California. It broke lots of records.

Have you seen that viral picture of Dodger Stadium? It's an aerial shot of the ballpark

basically looking like an island surrounded by water. The stadium itself did not flood and is

reportedly just fine. And real quick, before we move on, three new tropical storms have now formed

in the Atlantic. There's Franklin, Emily, and Gert. Those are the names of the storms Gert.

None are really supposed to affect the US, but a separate tropical depression is heading towards

South Texas. Strong winds, heavy rain, and coastal flooding are all expected today. We still have

a couple months left of this above average hurricane season.
