I'm Jackson Bird.

It's Election Day in the U.S., so I've got some good and some weird tips for staying calm amidst the election storm.

Also, an AI that can tell if you have COVID-19 just by listening

to your cough, and a deep dive on one type of U.S. citizen who can't run for public office

in eight states. Here are some of the cool things from the news today.

Election night is always nerve-wracking, but especially in a year when we're unlikely to know the results on the night.

And yes, yes, I know we never have all the votes counted on the actual night, but short of the 2000 election.

In recent years, we've usually known who the president will be by late that night or early the next morning. But regardless,

on top of that uncertainty, which can make everything feel that much more stressful, we've

also all spent the last eight months being more stressed out and uncertain about the future

than ever before.

So we're not exactly working from a sturdy base here.

And to that end, I thought I would share some recommendations for reducing stress today.
