Here's what you miss today in the world of tech.

Lulu Lemon says it is acquiring Home Fitness startup Mirror for $500 million.

Mirror is that, well it's a mirror that you might have seen certainly back when you could ride the subway.

There were ads for them all over the subways.

Basically you hang a mirror on a wall and you can watch video of fitness routines in the mirror and of course you can also

match the movements you see on the screen in the mirror because it's a mirror.

Think of it as Peloton for you, just regular workouts and such.

Mirror was last valued at $300 million, quoting Tech Crunch.

The two companies have a relationship dating back

to late last year when Lulu Lemon became an investor and

mirror. The $34 million series B1 brought in $34 million for the New York

startups 1,490-95 dollar reflective guided workout machine valuing the startup at around $300 million.

The company has raised a total of $74.8 million from investors including 0.72 ventures,

Spark Capital, first round capital, and a bunch of others.

Mirror has been viewed by many as an alternative to Peloton's wildly popular connected machines.

There's stiff competition in the category of connected fitness slabs including including Tonal and Tempo, but Mirror continues to be the biggest

name of the bunch.
