So let's dive right into that mailbag. Yeah, absolutely. Glad to be back here for another Ask Thor Anything Thursday. Let's just get right into it here with James Lyon. He writes in, for how many picks does Quasi have to hit this draft for his future to feel a little more stabilized as GM? like we know there's rocky waters here, but does he, and this is maybe a loaded question because it's like if you hit on a first round or maybe the rest of the draft isn't that great, that kind of changes perspective versus you whiff, you totally whiff on your, let's say, 12th pick, but then your second, third round guys maybe show a little promise. What's your opinion on what he has to do here in the upcoming draft to kind of solidify his future? It's hard to put it in terms of like a number in advance, right? Because the Vikings could have 10 picks here in the spring, right, depending on the conveyance or not of the second compick, which has to do some with Eric Wilson and different stuff like this,

1:45.2

but it's hard to put a number on, oh, you have to, you must hit seven of them or six of them.

1:51.6

I'll just say he has to have his best draft quantifiably, and you can't miss on the early picks.

1:58.1

The Vikings are going to have four picks in the first two days. They have

2:02.0

their own picks for second, third round, and then they have the comp pick coming from Sam,

2:06.6

leaving for Seattle last year. You're going to need to smoke those four picks. And perhaps even

2:14.0

day one starters, three or four out of out of that. The Vikings, they're going to have a lot of holes at the beginning of the off season after they start clearing out, because they have to clear out some cap space. And so you're going to see guys get mowed down with cuts, and they're going to create a lot of holes that way. And then obviously this roster, even when they thought they had the good starting lineup, they had depth issues right from the get, which goes back to the drafting as well. The proof is going to be in

2:39.1

the putting on this next fall if that roster hasn't been sufficiently re-fortified. And I think

2:45.7

Quasi, if he keeps his job through this off season and he's allowed to oversee one more draft,

3:08.0

he's on a one-off scenario. You were on one of the hottest seats in the NFL heading into next year as the GM. And yeah, you're going to need to win next year. That roster is going to need to win next year. So it's hard to put a, it's hard to say like, you know, have to hit six at nine pig or six of ten picks or seven to ten picks um something like that but you have to quacy's going to have to have his best drafted in

3:13.1

particular at the top you're going to have to pull out immediate contributors um in an attempt
