0:22.9	celebration of Christmas, the recognition that indeed we have a Savior who was born, and yet
0:27.6	we don't really have anything in the Bible that tells us to celebrate Christmas, right?
0:32.1	So do you celebrate Christmas?
0:33.3	I do celebrate Christmas against the advice of my Puritan forefathers.
0:38.8	Yeah.
0:39.4	Well, you can have that conversation in heaven about whether or not we should do this.
0:43.6	We even have a Christmas tree.
0:44.9	You have a Christmas tree.
0:45.7	A real Christmas tree.
0:46.4	That pagan icon from the sun god.
0:49.6	Well, you know, yeah, we celebrate Christmas too.
0:52.6	And I've worked through this.
0:53.6	And I've kind of been on both ends of the spectrum growing up.
0:56.8	Christmas was a big deal, and then as I became aware, the Puritans reading them, loving them, I thought Christmas should not be banned forever.
1:03.3	And I've come back to it with this sense that, you know, the birth of a king is a significant thing.
1:09.6	It ought to be celebrated.
1:10.8	We don't have kings in the United States, but there are kings throughout history.
