John chapter number eight, this is written by John the beloved. We're looking at verses

48 through 59. The people retorted speaking to Jesus and bringing an accusation against him.

You Samaritan devil.

Now, can you imagine that called Jesus a devil?

Can you all imagine it?

Didn't we say all along that you were possessed by a demon?

No, Jesus said, I have no demon in me.

For I honor my father and you dishonor me.

And though I have no wish, pay attention to glorify myself, understand this is the

aim, the ambition of the followers of Christ. We seek no glory for ourselves. And be aware when

you meet people were in their aim, their goal, is to seek glory for themselves.

And though I have no wish to glorify myself, God is going to glorify me.

He is the true judge. I tell tell you the truth anyone who obeys my

teaching will never die what death is he speaking up you see physical death is

when the spirit leaves the body but Jesus is making reference to spiritual death.

Those who obey his teachings, not when we feel like it, not when we want to, but those who are consistent,

intentional discipline to obey his teachings, he says, will never die. That has never experienced spiritual death.

The people said, now we know you are possessed by a demon. Even Abraham and his prophets died.

But you say anyone who obeys my teaching will never die.

Are you greater? Are you greater?

Are you greater than our Father Abraham?

He died and so did the prophets.
