Hi, everyone. This is your host, Kelly, from the Storytellers Live team.

On each episode, you'll hear a different woman share her story of God's transforming love.

These stories are recorded in a live setting at weekly local gatherings, where we're aiming

to build community through sharing, connecting, and encouraging

one another.

Most importantly, these stories reveal the faithfulness of God and how he can take what's

ordinary and broken and exchange it for extraordinary and redeemed.

Today's episode is the recording of the first gathering for one of our new branches,

the Storytellers Live of Birmingham 280 community.

And this was held a couple of weeks ago.

This new branch is being led by Amy Grody and her team.

And you might remember Amy from episode 20 when she shared the story of her daughter

Anne Reese's tragic passing.

And if you have not listened to that episode yet, I would recommend stopping this one for a few moments and going to episode 20

because it does inform the stories that you'll hear today as Amy and her mom, Lisa, share.

The common thread of their stories is this mingling of joy and grief.

And over the last 15 years or so, it seems that every joyous occasion has also been

paired with some sort of tragedy or loss.
