baseball fan, and I was watching the game, and there was a a hard hit ground ball to our second baseman

Ian Kinsler and without any thought Ian knocked it down kept it in front of him

and made the play to first base

but he stood up and his hand was covered in blood

but against the ball from house split his finger in hell

but he has old school and you know there's no crying in baseball so he walked over to the

outfield grass and wiped the blood off on the grass and then took a couple steps

back out of the infield and literally rub some dirt on it.

Yeah, okay.

I'm wondering is there actually any medical benefit to rub in some dirt on it?
