Second Chronicles chapter 20, verse 12,

We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.

Wow, this is one of, in my mind, greatest verses, not just in Second Chronicles, but in the whole Bible,

as God's people are surrounded by an invading army and Jehazepat praise this. Right before this,

he says, our God, will you not execute judgment on them? We are powerless against this great

horde that is coming against us.

So get that context and think about your life. Is there anything that you're walking through

right now that feels overwhelming, that feels impossible, where you feel powerless or maybe even hopeless? I don't know what to do I don't

know what to do that's the context here's why Josh Pat says that we do not know what to do

but our eyes are on you and that kind of faith honors God.

That kind of faith glorifies God.

And it's the posture in a sense we're supposed to live in on a daily basis.

God, we don't know what to do.

God, we can't do anything without you.

But our eyes are on you. And I want to encourage you especially

if you're walking through some kind of overwhelming time, challenging time, facing circumstances

that feel overwhelming, you don't know what to do, you don't know how you're going to make

it through, keep your eyes on him. He is what to do you don't know how you're going to make it through keep your eyes on him he is able to do

immeasurably more than all you could ask or imagine you are powerless but he has all power you are

confused you don't know what to do he has all. And he not only has all power and all wisdom,

but he promises to give you and me wisdom when our eyes are on him. And he promises to work his power
