Hello and welcome back to Pods Save the Queen,

where we're going to be all about the tiaras and the fancy dinners and everything that has been happening during Donald Trump's state visit.

I am your host Ann Gripper. I am joined by our style director Amber Grafland because there are lots of

pretty dresses to talk about a lot of dresses a lot of glitz and I'm also

joined once again by our royal editor Russell Myers who is delighted to be talking

about the dresses but will also be giving us the inside track of the royal events that he's been at this

because he's been at some of the real like centerpieces of what has been going on.

And any fashion advice or tips you want from me seeing all the

dresses up close. I know. That's why I'm here. So we... No invites again. We were in the

office. You know it's a very exclusive club, I'm afraid.

So when we were talking last week when we were looking ahead to the visit, it was all about the politics.

We're going to leave the politics out of it this time, largely.

There's probably a little bit smattering of what was going on.

Let's enjoy it for what it was.

And it seems to have gone pretty well.

Yeah, definitely.

I think on all sides, everyone's been really pleased with how it's gone.

Perhaps pleasantly surprised about how well it has gone,

Trump hasn't really put a foot out of place.

He was very, very polished. He took his time. He seemed to be in awe of the Queen and the

surroundings that he had been found himself in and I think he was deep down very very appreciative of the fact that he
